Lora M. Hendricks

Together Again.

Lora M. Hendricks, 81, went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2022 after a very brief illness. She was born in Akron, Ohio to Everett and Vernie Belle (Greathouse) Rowan. Lora previously lived in Suffield, Ohio before moving to Gandeeville, WV for 15 years. She then returned to Ohio, residing in Tallmadge. Lora served as office manager for Bologna Insurance Agency for 20 years. Lora was an avid nature lover, she loved bird watching, and loved all animals. She greatly enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, She loved singing, cooking, taking care of her husband, Carl, and most of all, she loved God. Lora had a loving soul and a beautiful heart. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.

In addition to her parents, Lora was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Carl; son, Carl "Duke"; granddaughter, Stephanie; great grandson, Liam; brother, Bill Rowan; sister, Jean Walker. She will be greatly missed by her children, Mike (Jodi), Kim (Dale) Smith, Steve; grandchildren, Josh, Shannon, Liz, Jenn, Adam, Rachel, Melissa, Theresa, Brandon, Brian; 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Faye (Jim) Gibson, Brenda (Tim) Sobitz.

Per Lora's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal services at this time. The family will be planning a Celebration of Life for both Lora and her late husband Carl in the near future. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Lora's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Summit County Humane Society.
