Loran O. Jenkins, 71, of Akron, passed away on February 28, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving sisters. Loran was born in Akron on February 12, 1951 to the late Ormond and Mary Jenkins. He retired as a machinist from Parker-Hannifin after over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Mogadore Moose and the Mogadore VFW. In his free time, he loved taking trips on his motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, Loran was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn in 2007; and his brothers, Charles and Carl Jenkins.
Loran will be dearly missed by his sisters, Nancy Hicks, Carol Fowler, Libby Stone, and Dodi Ball; many nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
Per Loran's wishes, cremation will take place and no formal services will be held. His family will celebrate his life at a later date.
