Lorena Dove Westfall

Lorena Dove Westfall, 92, of Akron, passed away on May 19, 2013. She was born on February 23, 1921 to the late James and Faye (Williams) Boggs in Parkersburg, WV. "Poochie" loved spending time in her flower garden, traveling and watching her birds.

Lorena is survived by her Daughter, Lois Jean Allshouse, Son, Kenneth Westfall, Son, Walter (Pauline) Westfall Jr., Sister, Wilma Jean Dunlevy, Brother, James Boggs, 18 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving Husband, Walter Westfall, Sr., Mother, Faye Boggs, Father, James Boggs, Son, James Westfall, Son-in-law, Terry Allshouse, Son-in-law, Harry Dodson, Sr., Sisters; Euilelah and Kathryn, Brothers; Burkley and Homer James, Grandchildren; Christine and Johnny, Great Grandson, Joey.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013, 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Elmer Johnson officiating. Final resting place will be at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
