Lottie D. Clouser, 73, of Akron, passed away March 8, 2009 at Essex Health Care. She was born January 11, 1936 in Chloe, West Virginia to the late Ora & Gertrude (Lamb) Groggs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Christopher and David Clouser; brothers, Bob and Paul Groggs; sister, Sue Mullins and an infant sister; step-mother, Vola Groggs. She is survived by her husband, David C. Clouser; daughters, Barbara (JR) Thompson, Patty (Mitchell) Moore and Angela (Danny) Scott; son, David A. Clouser; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren with one on the way; sisters, Loretta (Leo) Gray of Elyria, Norma Nicholas and Jean (Habert) Siers; brothers, Ted (Charlotte) Groggs of Stow, Bud (Alma) Groggs of Medina, Frank (Imogene) Groggs, Bill (Debbie) Groggs and Michael (Pam) Groggs. "WE LOVE YOU, MOM & MAMAW." Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Neal Brock officiating. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
