Louella Pack, 73, affectionately known as "Boo", passed away on January 19, 2024 at Summa Barberton Hospital after a short illness. Born to Ernest and Estelle Pack on June 13, 1950 in Tomahawk, KY, she moved to Ohio shortly after. The majority of her years were spent in Suffield. She graduated in 1968 from Field High School and continued on to Riggs Lamar Beauty School and obtained her cosmetology license. For the next 30 years, she was employed at Jackie Beauty Salon along with her best friend, Connie Slonacker. She decided to change careers and worked at Child Guidance and Family Solutions, retiring from there on December 28, 2023.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Ronald.
Louella's memory will be honored and kept alive by her surviving siblings, Linda Pirt, Roger Pack and Jim Pack; along with a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She enjoyed reading, puzzles and going to the Outer Banks every year with family. She loved sitting on the deck watching everyone swim and play. It won't be the same without her. She always made the best biscuits and gravy for everyone.
Visitation will be held on January 26th from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305).
The service to celebrate her life will be held at 4:00pm with Pastor Stephen Neumeyer officiating.
She will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park next to her parents.
Her generosity and care will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
