Louis Critell, 86, passed away on March 26, 2009. He was born in Akron, Ohio on June 5, 1922 to the late Joseph and Mary Critell. Louis was a veteran of WWII, having served with the US Army in the Normandy invasion. He retired from Dillards after many years of service. Louis enjoyed the company of his many dear friends. Survivors include his sisters Rose Capotosta and Josephine Hamann; brother John; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday, 5-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
