Louis P. "Lou" Gower

Louis P. "Lou" Gower, 61, passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2018. A longtime resident of Springfield Township, he was born December 15, 1956. Lou was a good-hearted man who loved his "boys." He owned and operated RPM Construction since 2005. Lou was a Marine Corp veteran.
Lou was preceded in death by his mother, Kay Gower; siblings, Eddie, Randy, Mara, Kathy; and grandmother, Hazel. He is survived by the love of his life, Edwina; father, Robert Gower; sons, Shawn (Skip) Gower and Shane Gower; 3 grandchildren; brother, Bob (Donna) Gower of Mogadore; sister, Kim (Bud) Linton of Loganville, GA; and countless nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm - 5:30pm on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Memorial service will begin at 5:30pm with Pastor Steven Gower officiating.
