In loving memory of Louis Marchion, beloved father and grandfather, passed away on August 28, 2006. Louis was a veteran of WWII having served with the US Army, a former P.O.W., and the owner of Hyway Towing for 15 years. He was also a member of the Italian Center and American Legion Post #611. His presence and guidance will be missed by all that have known him. Preceded in death by his loving wife Shirley. Survivors include his children Joe (Darlene), Cindy, Carol (Greg), Candy, and Shirlene (Phil); a wealth of 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and another on the way. Funeral service will be Saturday, 1 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park where military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #281. Calling hours will be Friday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. The members of the Italian Center will have a short service on Friday at 7 p.m. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.Newcomerfamily.com.
