Louis Ralph 'Lou" Perrotta Jr., age 93 of Akron, Ohio, died on August 23, 2023.
He was born on May 6, 1930 in Donora, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Louis Ralph and Assunta Sarah (nee Costa) Perrotta Sr.
Lou was an honorably discharged US Navy veteran serving during peacetime.
Lou was a member of the Army/Navy Garrison #102 in Akron. Lou enjoyed fishing, reading and vacationing at the beach. He kept busy with woodworking and working around the house.
Survivors include his children, Teresa Brown (companion, Keith Joy) and Ralph Anthony "Tony" (Cathy) Perrotta; his grandchildren, Tonya (Ryan) Beal, Ryan Perrotta, Jeremiah Perrotta, David (Jodi) Brown, Dale (Stacy) Brown and Matthew (Ilissa) Krainess; and his seven great-grandchildren.
Other than his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his wife, the former June LeMaster; his grandson, Anthony Michael "Tony" Perrotta; his granddaughter, Michelle Bewley his daughter, Barbara Stancil; and one sister, Linda Maines.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, where US Navy military services will take place at 10:30 AM.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, Akron, Ohio.
