Louise Baker

Louise Baker, 89, passed away June 6th, 2022 after a brief illness. Born in Buckhannon, West Virginia, to Mabel Tenney, but residing in the Akron area most of her adult life. Lousie was a faithful member of Hillwood Chapel. She greatly enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family. Louise was an avid Cleveland Indians fan! She had enough food canned to get through the apocalypse.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Howard L. Baker. She will be sadly missed by her children, Kimberly (Wayne) Fincannon, Carolyn "Susie" Riffle, Kathi Jo (Marty) Lappin, Keith (Kelly) Baker; grandchildren, CJ, Stephen, Tara, Travis, Michael, Steven, Chip, Bryan, Sami; 21 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday June 13th, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
