Louise Logan, "Grandma Logan", age 82 of New Franklin, Ohio, died on June 15, 2022 at her home.
She was born on February 5, 1940 in Chillicothe, Ohio, the daughter of the late James and Margaret (nee Reese) Dodrill.
Grandma Logan was a homemaker, taking care of her family and providing for them. Her greatest joy was her family. Everything she did was for her family, from making their clothes to attending her children's and grandchildren's events, be it sports, dance and any and all competitions. She totally immersed herself in her family. Everyone knew her as Grandma Logan and always had a "Big Smile" on her face. She was truly a woman of great wealth of love! She always met a friend.
Survivors include her children, Vickie Lynn Logan, John William Logan, David Wayne (Lisa) Logan and Christopher Michael (Tracy) Logan; her grandchildren, Mandy Louise (Adam) Gnap, Amy Jean Logan, Nicol (Ricky) Bower, Cortland Douglas (Sarah) Logan, Madison Paige (Chad) Robertson, Leah Bella Logan, Andria Logan, Meagan (Jacob) White and Cody Logan; and her great-grandchildren, Logan, Lexi, Junior, Blake, Reagan, Ricky, Aspen Reign, Holden, Brooks, Easton, Nate, Willow, Sopheah, Baby Jake and Asher.
Her sister also survives, Barb (John) Seli.
Other than her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Logan; her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Logan; and her sister, Aunt Peewee.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in an open microphone format at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where friends and family may participate in the service.
Grandma Logan will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron.
