Louise T. Mauk

Louise T. (Pavlock) Mauk, age 78, of Akron, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. Louise was known as "Mimi", "Mims", "Weezie" and "Lois" to her family and friends. She was compassionate, witty and a lot of fun. She was loved by all those who met her. Louise was born in Gallitzin, Pennsylvania on July 9, 1935 to the late John and Theresa Pavlock. She lived most of her life in Akron, Ohio and was a member of Annunciation Parish.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Larry McCloskey and her godson, Christopher Pavlock. Louise is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Ronald Mauk; son, Ronald "Ricky" Mauk; daughter, Tammy (Ronald) Sanner; daughter, Jodie (Dave) Brown; sister, Sylvia McCloskey; brothers, John (Norma) Pavlock and Thomas (Sandy) Pavlock; grandchildren, Brittany (Jared), Amber, Brooke, Megan, Brier, Mason, Lexi, Skylar and two great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Summa Hospice for taking exceptional care of Louise.
