Lubomir Klein, 79, of Akron, passed away January 17, 2006 at his residence. He was born April 23, 1926 in Pardubice, Czechoslovakia to the late Adolfe & Ruzene Klein and resided in Akron for over 50 years. Lubomir was an avid walker who enjoyed walks in the park and enjoyed vacationing, planting flowers and working in the garden. Most of all, he was a great father and good friend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia. He is survived by his sons, Donovan (fiancée Jamie) and Christopher (Bernadette); grandson, Gerald Gleason; a sister and brother in Germany; family friend, Judy. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. and on Friday from 12 - 1 p.m. at Springfield Baptist Church, 1920 Krumroy Rd. where funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Larry Baldrdidge officiating.
