Luciano Joseph Iatonna, "Chico", age 63 of Ravenna, Ohio, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2017 at 1:27 PM at UH Portage Medical Center.
He was born on May 28, 1954 in Dearborn, Michigan, the son of the late Giuseppe and Rosa Pia Iatonna.
Chico was retired from Chrysler in 2006 after 33 years of service as a fork lift operator. He enjoyed watching movies, working on cars, and being with his dog, Maci Bleu. But most of all his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife, the former Debra Ann Jeffress, whom he married on July 12, 1975; his children, Angelica Dawn "Lica" (Scott Mullins) Iatonna, Joseph M. "Joe" (Melissa) Iatonna; and one granddaughter, Julia Rose Iatonna. His siblings also survive, Mario Iatonna, Antonio (Laurie) Iatonna, and Catherine (Rocco Anselmo) Bethell; and several nephews and one niece.
There will be a memorial service at a later date and if you are interested in attending, please call the family.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home-Akron.
