Lucille E. Yeary

Lucille E. "Cille" Yeary, 81, passed away on April 14, 2022, and Heaven gained an ornery little angel. She was born on August 17, 1940. Cille was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. She enjoyed card games but her passion and love was bowling with family and friends always looking forward to Wednesday nights with her bowling family. Cille was Neal McCoy's biggest fan going to almost all of his concerts. She had a special heart for her furry companions. Cille had a caring spirit, a fun loving heart and a great sense of humor. She became "Aunt Cille" to everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Yeary; sister Charlotte Fisher; and brother Ben Rader.
Cille is survived by her loving family, daughters Karen Yeary and Sharon Childress; sister Peggy (Joe) Danzy; brother Bob (Pat) Thompson; niece Charlotte (Gary) Miller; nephews Robert (Abby) Beretics and Richard (Debbie) Beretics; great-nieces Julie (TJ Bosley) Mills and Tiffany (Tony) Betzing; great-nephews Robert (Nicole) Beretics, Matthew Beretics and Michael Beretics; great-great niece Amelia; great-great nephews Paul, Caleb and Austin; and her sweet kitty Oreo.
Visitation will be held Wednesday (April 20) from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday with Gary Miller officiating.
Interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery.
