Lula "Lou" B. Lowe, age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 15, 2022. Lou was born on February 26, 1935 in Linden, West Virginia.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Opie and Elizabeth Dye, siblings, Creed Dye, Peggy Spencer, and Ella Bradley, and daughter-in-law, Jan Lowe.
She is survived by her loving husband, James P. Lowe, children, James Lowe, Jane (Mike) Andrick, and Dawn (Mark) Lipscomb.
She leaves behind grandchildren, Christy Lipscomb, Kaitlin (Michael) Miller, Parker (Lauren) Lipscomb, Erica Andrick, and Nikki Andrick, and great grandchildren, Elena Miller, Sloane Miller, Vaughn Miller, and Ryliegh Lapera. She will also be deeply missed by her special family friends, Becky, Ron, and Christina Compton and Peggy Alt, brother-in-law, Jack Bradley, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may come to call on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 12-1 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. The service will be live streamed at 1 p.m. and can be viewed by clicking the link below.
