Lula M. Prather

Lula M. Prather, 98, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2012. She was born on August 6, 1913 in Sharon Center, OH and was a life resident of the area. Lula was very proud to have worked 25 years in Central Services of Akron General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years of marriage, Kermit (Bill); daughter, Joann Khoenle; son, Charles. Lula is survived by a half-sister, Pat Novoselich; son, Harold; a deeply devoted, like a son, caregiver, Bill (Sol) Guren; son-in-law, Donald Khoenle; nephew, Terry (Liz) Sims of CA; many great-nephews, great nieces and friends. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends may call on Saturday, March 3 from 1-3 PM at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a memorial service will follow at 3 PM. with Rev. Don Davies officiating.
