Luz E. Luna-Kridler, 38, passed away on July 7, 2006. She was born on December 5, 1967 in Akron. She was a Spanish teacher at Hudson High School, and was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. Luz enjoyed spending time with family and friends, bowling, music, and baseball. She was a devoted New York Yankees Fan! She is survived by her husband, John E. Kridler III; sons, John E. Kridler IV and Brandon A. Kridler; parents, Ramon and Emerita Luna; sisters, Arlene (Daniel) Peña, María (Colin) Boyd, Yamilet (Robert) Truex; three nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends and family may call at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. on Tuesday, July 11 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church (downtown Akron).
