Lynda Marie Harris

Lynda M. Harris (Foster) Dedicated servant of Jehovah God since 1974, born February 15, 1943, in Akron Ohio, died suddenly after a short illness on July 20, 2023.

After retirement Lynda chose to spend much of her time in the ministry, sharing the Bible's message of hope with others. She was a member of the Akron Central Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for many years. On January 3, 2001, she retired from the U.S. Attorney's Office after 32 years of service with the United States Government.

She was preceded in death by; her parents, Elmore and Martha Foster. Sisters; Darlene Matthews, Ella DeJesus, Shirley White and brothers, Elmore Foster Jr, Ronald & Regan Foster,

She is survived by her son, Stephan (Toni) Harris; 3 Grandchildren, Takiesha (Dion) Sams, Jason (Selena) Harris, Ebony Harris; 4 great grandchildren, Mikayla, Jordan, Dion Jr, Mekhi Sams; Brother, Delmore Foster; and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and special niece, Debbie (John) Mason.

Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Central Congregation, 1170 Eastwood Ave, on August 12, 2023 at 1:30 PM, Brother Daniel Lewis officiating. Visitation will take place on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Cremation to take place after viewing.
