Lynda Stanley

Lynda Stanley (Legg), age 62, of Akron, Ohio passed away unexpectedly February 29th, 2024. She was born in Akron, Ohio July 3rd, 1961 to Carolyn Frye and Gerald Legg Sr. Lynda was a gentle soul with a heart of gold. She graduated from Springfield High School where she went onto work at Summit Plastic for many years.
She is preceded in death by her mother Carolyn; father Gerald; step father Clyde; and her beautiful daughter, her pride and joy, Kara Stanley. She is survived by her siblings Sheryl Legg Morgan, Gerald Legg, Janene (Keith) Mcquain, Daniel (Kimberly) Legg; as well as her nieces Nicholle (Norm) Arman, Jessica Legg; and nephews Jason (Katie) Legg, Keith (Ali) Mcquain, Kevin Mcquain and Harrison Gifford.
Lynda had a special love for dogs especially her sweet pup Maggie.
She is remembered to have created many enjoyable memories for her nieces and nephews over the years by taking them swimming at former Eastwood Swim park, yard-saling, shopping and trips to McDonald's for happy meals. Lynda was outspoken and genuine. She loved and accepted people of all walks of life and made those around her feel so special. She will be missed.
Her wish was to be cremated and will have a private service at a later time.
