Lyndle Westerfield

Lyndle Westerfield, 83, passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2018. A longtime Akron resident, he was born in Drakesboro, KY on November 19, 1934. Lyndle was employed at Midwest Presort for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Alfie Westerfield. He leaves to survive his wife of 52 years, Norma; children, Timothy (Daphne) Westerfield, Vickie (Dwight) McDaniel, Debie Burden; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service will be at 12pm on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Haven of Rest Ministries, Akron.
