Lynn Rene Keller

Lynn Rene Keller, 57, passed away with her spouse and dear friends by her side on April 28, 2023. She was born on November 7, 1965 to Shirley (Jones) and Donald Keller.
She was preceded in death by her loving mother Shirley and dearest friend Tammy.
She will be dearly missed by her spouse of 29 years, Renee Maciag; father, Donald Keller; brother, Chris Keller; aunt and uncle, Fran and Bill Keller and their children, Cindy, Lore and Jon; the Gladden cousins, Pete and Kim; her extensive in-law-family of Maciags and McCoys; and her huge tribe of loving friends.
An artistic and sensitive soul, Lynn would have celebrated 38 years sober this June 2nd thanks to her Higher Power and the beautiful people who supported her inside of and outside of AA.
She had a lifelong, deeply compassionate love of animals and children - her favorite subjects as a freelance photographer. She adored the children she drove to school in her most recent career as a bus driver for Akron Public Schools.
She had a lifelong love of music and played bass in several bands over the years. She sang freely, and joyfully with many of us on any occasion and for no reason at all.
Most essential to anyone who met her - she loved to laugh. Her quirky humor, her infectious laughter, her genuinely dazzling smile, brought light into so many lives.
Per Lynn's wishes cremation has taken place.
Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, May 12, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. for calling hours at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44305. Additional calling hours will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. followed by a memorial service at 2:00 P.M.
