Lynne Ann Crump

Lynne Ann Crump, 72, passed away unexpectedly on January 5, 2021. Born in Akron, Ohio to Allen and Lorraine (Waring) Virden, she was a lifelong area resident. Lynne worked for many years as a Dental Receptionist for Dr. Arthur Benson. She greatly enjoyed her animals, attending Indians games, collecting antiques, hanging out with her closest friends and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lee Virden in 2020. Lynne will be sadly missed by her husband of 25 years, Ray; daughter, Rachel (Chuck) Snyder; step children, April, Danny Ray (Natalie); grandchildren, Chuckie, Taylor, Adrianna, Lexi, Cassie, Dani, Anthony; sister, Nanette (Jim) Efferson; nieces, Leah, Aimee (Anthony).

Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, January 15, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. Please expect to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Lynne's name to the Humane Society of Summit County.
