Mabel M. Dietz, 94, of Akron, passed away November 6, 2008 at her residence. She was born January 7, 1914 in Akron, Ohio to the late Fred & Louise (Metz) Wilson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester M. Dietz; and brother, Brooks Wilson. She is survived by her daughter, Eileen (Donald) Calaway; sons, Gerald (Sandra) Dietz and Carl (Rayma) Dietz; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron on Tuesday beginning at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service begins.
