Mada Jean Mallory, 60, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on May 13, 2012. She was born in Newport, Ohio on March 16, 1952 to the late Lloyd Adams Sr. and Doris Turner Adams. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1969 and earned as Associate Degree in Accounting from Washington Technical College.
Mada was preceded in death by her parents and brothers-in-law, Robert Winland and Jack Freeman. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 25 years, Archie Mallory; siblings, Sharon June Winland, Doreen Lee Freeman, George Steven Adams, and Lloyd "Bud" C. Adams, Jr. (Charlene) all of St. Marys, WV, Judith Lynn Thompson (Rick) of Williamstown, WV, James Randall Adams (Jennifer) of Newport, OH, Denver Clark Adams and Crystal Dawn Barnes, both of St. Marys, WV, Rebecca Lousie Wright (Leonard) of Sumner, IL, and Elizabeth Joy Peckens of St. Marys, WV; mother-in-law, Rose Mallory; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, May 16 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior at First Apostolic Church of Tallmadge, 199 South Ave, with Pastor Kenneth Bulgrin officiating. Interment at Tallmadge Cemetery.
