Madeline Anna Bever

Madeline Anna Bever, age 92 of Akron, passed away peacefully at home on October 15, 2021.

Madeline was born on November 4, 1928 in Richwood, West Virginia to George Washington and Lula (Dean) Tyo. She enjoyed baking, sewing, and crocheting. Madeline spent time making crafts and was very creative. Madeline liked watching Soap Operas, or as she called them, her stories. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grand children. Madeline was a member of the Plus Fifty Senior Club of Patterson Park. She was once a top-seller for Avon, and recently enjoyed selling to her friends in the Senior Club. Madeline had a charismatic personality and was a good friend to all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Bever, children; Mike Bever, Patty Bever, Debbie Lockhart, and Pam Bever, and siblings; Paul (Ruth Ann) Tyo, Bill Tyo and Evelyn Tyo.

Madeline will be deeply missed by her grandchildren; Renee Bever, Paul (Lisa) Davis, Tish Beamon, Desire (Angelo) Pinczes, Ashley Bevan, 14 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Friends and family may come to call on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m.
