Mae Elizabeth (Booth) Weaver, 80, of Akron, OH, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2005. Born in Clarksburg, WV on March 27, 1925. She lived in WV until 1956 then moved to Akron, OH. She retired from Akron City Hospital. She lived in the Arkon area until 1983 when she moved to Looneyville, WV. After her husband died in 1992, she moved to Carey, OH until July 28, 1996 when she moved back to Akron. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Tallmadge. She was a member of Eastern Stars D.E.S., Linden, WV Chapter 152 and a memer of the Ladies Auxiliary to the V.F.W. Auxiliary #8975, Akron, OH. Although she is gone physically, her spirit lives on in our hearts. She was a wonderful wife, sister, aunt, niece, and cousin. Mae enjoyed helping people, traveling, camping, fishing, gardening,and spending time with family and friends. She would call others angels, but she was an angel herself. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merritt B. Weaver, who died March 13, 1992.; brother, Frank Booth; sisters, Geneva Mann and Genevieve Miller. She is survived by her brother, Thomas E. Booth (Fern) of Helena, Mt.; sister, Frances L. Staubs of Akron, OH. She was the beloved "Aunt Mae" to numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 106 E. Howe Rd., Tallmadge. Interment at Greensburg Cemetery.
