Magdalena M. Kremer

Magdalena "Maggie" Kremer of Tallmadge, Ohio, passed away on February 14, 2022 at the age of 81.
Magda was born to parents, Erwin and Maria Magdalena Malle on October 28, 1940 in Klagenfurt, Austria. She was the oldest of four and attended Hauptschule where she learned cosmetology and barbering at the age of 16. In 1957 she met her future husband, Karl Kremer, whose entire family was about to leave for the United States. She raised monies and arrived to the United States in 1960 to marry Karl.
She carried on the family tradition of cosmetology and barbering until the age of 80. She was the proud owner and operator of The Roaring 20's Barbershop on Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls from 1993 until 2018. The love and appreciation she had for her regulars was truly unmatched. Her greatest love though was for her family. She attended nearly every concert or activity that involved her family. Her love of music could be witnessed by her dancing.
Magda is survived by her son, Arno Kremer of Hudson; her daughter-in-law, Caroline Kremer; her grandchildren, Ashleigh and Jacob Kremer; and her boyfriend of 36 years, Lee Corbett.
Friends and family may visit on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, a Celebration of Life will conclude the evening.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Falls Cancer Club, Inc.
