Maggie (Margaret) Sanders Dye

Maggie (Margaret) Sanders Dye, 92, of Akron, passed away October 24, 2007. She was born January 5, 1915 in Owenton, Kentucky to the late Clarence & Eurah (Uren) Morgan. Margaret loved her family and was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple where she sang in the Choir, was active in the Senior Citizens group and the Parklane Bible Study. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Sanders; second husband, Walter Dye; son, Clayton L. Sanders; brothers, Clarence and Dick Morgan. She is survived by her daughters, Helen (David) Campbell and Gloria J. Sanders; son, Jerry D. (JoAnn) Sanders; grandchildren, Julie, Cody, Jerry, Kenny, Vicki and Shelli; 13 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Ernie Kemppel officiating. Interment will follow at Sharon Center Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Heartland Hospice and a very special thanks to the entire Haven Homes Staff for their excellent love and care.
