Marcene M. Knowles, 82, born on November 11, 1925 went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 20, 2008. She is preceded in death by her mother Ona May Brooks; father Steven Baragry; brother Jack Brooks; sister Dorothy Beach. She is survived by her loving husband, of 64 years, Arthur; adoring children Arthur (Rose) Knowles, Sandy (Cliff) Arnold, Janet (Chuck) Shuman, Onie (Lou) Yovanovich, Dr Doug E. (Jill) Knowles, Debbie Falconbery. Also survived by brothers Chuck Brooks and Fred Brooks; sisters Betty Cliff and Guanita McDonald; as well as her many precious grand children and great grand children. Her greatest accomplishment in this life was the unconditional love she gave to her family. The family would like to express our appreciation to Hospice of Summa and especially to Lena, Connie and Angela of Lena's Home Care who provided our mother with the utmost of loving care. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd, Akron with Summa Hospice Chaplin Joseph Lee officiating.
