Marcy L. Bishop

Marcy L. Bishop, 64, passed away on May 27, 2024. She was born on August 24, 1959 the daughter of the late Darce and Joan Smith. Marcy graduated from Green High School with the class of 1978. She worked many dedicated years for Akron Porcelain & Plastics. She enjoyed gardening growing many different vegetables and beautiful flowers in her garden. Marcy also enjoyed working on many different renovations around her home. She was always up to many adventures especially trying out new foods. She had many accomplishments but her greatest was her love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Marcy will be missed by her loving family, her husband of 32 years, Ron W. Bishop; daughters Katie Bishop and Leann Bishop; sisters Darcy (Mike) Pipes, Vickie (Chuck) Keller, and Erma (Bill) Wilson; brother Darce (Lynn) Smith; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 30th, from 4:00 to 5:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held at 5:00pm.
