Margaret A. "Peggy" Miller

Margaret A. "Peggy" Miller, 81, passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside, after a short illness on May 7, 2011. She was a member of the Gospel Crusaders Church. She was born in Akron, Ohio on April 1, 1930. Peggy graduated from East High School. When asked for her high school yearbook what she wanted as a future career she stated she only wanted to be a mother. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be missed by all she knew. She loved the casinos, playing cards, bingo, family pictures and being with her family. She not only loved her own children but cared for and nurtured every child she met. Her heart was that big. She was preceded in death by husband, William T. Miller; her parents, Morris and Laura Yunkin; and her brother, William. She is survived by her loving children, Pauline (Gary) Hawk of Springfield Township, Laura (Sam) Claburn of Ravenna, William (Kimberlie) Humphrey of Springfield Township, Robert (Christine) Humphrey of Las Vegas, Susan (Steve) West of Akron, Paul Humphrey, Jr. (Shirley Wright) of Las Vegas, and stepdaughter, Susan (Don) Armbrust of Norton; sister and brother, Betty Fauss of Reynoldsburg, OH and Al Yunkin of Hartville; grandchildren, Robert (Julie) Biggs, Tina (Ron) Pownall, Tammy (Rick) Welser, Stephanie Kashnier, Tiffany West, Derek (Kristy) Hawk, Toni (Shane) Longauer, Jared Humphrey, Heatherly Humphrey, Rachel Humphrey, Randi Humprhey, Michael (Angela) Armbrust, Michelle (Matthew) Jenson, Tiffany Dias, Heather Northington, and George Martin II; and 22 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 followed by a 7:00 p.m. memorial service with Pastor John Beers officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd.
