Margaret D. Collins, 86, of Akron, passed away April 27, 2018. She was born in Nanty Glo, PA, daughter of the late John and Annie Starr.
She was preceded in death by her husband William B. Collins; daughter Catherine Porter, and brother Herbert Starr.
Margaret is survived by her sister, Stella Lampe; daughter Tina Lockard; and sons, John (Cindy) Collins, Robert (Brenda) Collins; son-in-law, Bill Porter; grandchildren, Robert (Terra) Porter, Michael (Tracy) Porter, Stephanie Potter, and Nicholas Collins, and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Christopher Porter.
A graveside memorial service will be Friday, May 4, 2018, at 1 p.m., at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at https://www.alz.org/. To leave a special message for the family online, please share a memory below.
