Margaret was the youngest of 8 children born to Jay and Anna Corder in Adams Mills/Dresden, OH. She is survived by generations of loving nieces and nephews, and by numerous dedicated, caring friends. She came to Akron in 1940, attended a local business college, took classes at Akron University, and held accounting positions at Goodyear Aerospace, General Tire, and NEO Sales. In 1960 she became the Controller for the Akron Area YWCA (Young Woman's Christian Association), and retired from that position after 25 years of highly respected and valued service. Cremation has taken place. At later dates, a Memorial Service and burial will be held in Adams Mills/Dresden, and a Remembrance Gathering will be held locally. Margaret was noted for her love of animals and concern for the environment, donations to such causes would please her. To leave a special message online, visit www.NewcomerAkron.com.
