Margaret Crano (Iler)
Margaret Crano (Iler) passed away at the age of 94 at the Merriman Nursing Home. She fought a good fight but her frail body gave out on October 30, 2005. Preceded in death by her husband, Fred William Crano. She is survived by children, Bill (Sue) Crano, Rick (Diane) Crano, Joyce (Bill) Adley and Michele (Cosimo) Tassone. She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild; sister, Sophie Woodall; sister-in-law, Frances Iler and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the wonderful and loving nurses and aides at The Merriman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the name of Margaret Crano at any FirstMerit Bank. Donations will benefit the activities department of The Merriman and a needy family this holiday season. There will be no calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady Victory Church with Fr. John Hengle presiding. She will be entombed at Holy Cross Cemetery immediately following.
