Margaret Crawford DePrato
Margaret Crawford DePrato, 87, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2011. She was born March 19, 1923 in Rosefarm, Ohio to the late John and Elizabeth Brownlee. Margaret devoted her life to her home, husband, children, and grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Alvin DePrato; children, Robert (Donna) DePrato, Margie (Rodney) Sands, Linda (Bob) Humble, Diane Monroe, Alvin (Laurie) DePrato, Jr.; sister, Maryjean Kemp; brother, John Brownlee; thirteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Visitation on Tuesday from 10:30-11:30 followed by an 11:30 a.m. funeral service at the funeral home. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice, Forest Park Center, 600 E. Granger Rd. Ste 100, Brooklyn Hts, OH 44131.
