Margaret "Margie" R. Elrod, age 63, passed away peacefully, on July 6, 2022 with her beloved son by her side.
She was born in Dunkirk, New York, to the late Wilbur and Mary Sheffield. She spent her childhood in New York and Bangor, Pennsylvania, where she resided for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Barry Elrod and several siblings.
She is survived by her son Richard Elrod of Austin, Texas. She also leaves behind many other relatives and her good friends at the Ellet Development.
Margie's family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers of the Malachi House in Cleveland, Ohio for all their loving care.
Margie will always be remembered for her kind heart and friendly spirit. She loved adventuring out to thrift stores and finding treasures. She was a lover of animals and will be missed by her beloved Pomeranian, Princess.
Per Margie's wishes she will be laid to rest alongside her husband in Bangor, Pennsylvania.
