Margaret Fretz

Margaret "Peggy" L. Fretz, 80, of Cuyahoga Falls, went home to be with the Lord on May 4, 2018.
Peggy graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1955, and graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelors degree in Home Economics. She worked as a substitute teacher in the local school system. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church for over 50 years. Peggy enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening, but above all cherished spending time with her "little fellas," aka her grandsons.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, David Fretz; brother, Carl Catt; and brother-in-law, Bob Neely.
Left to cherish Peggy's memory are her children, Dan (Pam) Fretz, and Susan (Phil) Goodin; siblings, Bill (Charlene) Catt, and Mary Ellen Neely; grandsons, John Goodin and Jacob Goodin; and lifetime friends, Joanne Davey, and Vernell Hall.
Friends and family are welcome to Redeemer Lutheran Church 2141 5th St., Cuyahoga Falls, 44221 on Saturday May 12, 2018 to visit from 2:30-3:00pm. A memorial service will take place at 3:00pm.
Peggy's family would like to give a special thank you to Harbor Light Hospice and the Gardens of Western Reserve nursing staff for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Peggy's honor to either Redeemer Lutheran Church at the address listed above, or to Haven of Rest at www.havenofrest.org
