Margaret Marie Holloway
Margaret Marie Holloway, 83, went home to be with the Lord after a long and courageous battle with cancer on November 11, 2015. She was born in Wise County, VA to the late Wiley and Georgia Hall. Marie came to Akron with her husband James in 1956 to make a better life for her family. She was a member of Brady Lake Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; sons, Michael and Steve. Marie leaves to cherish her memory, children, Bruce (Carol) Holloway, Betty Barnhart and David (Bonnie) Holloway; grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Aaron, Michael, Angie, Ginny, Jimmy and Melissa; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Hall; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday November 15, 2015 from 2-4pm and the funeral service will be held on Monday November 16, 2015 at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Rev. Virgil Elkins officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
