Margaret I. Davis, 77, passed away December 22, 2010 at Akron City Hospital. She was born April 20, 1933 in Hickory, NC to the late Odell & Blanche (Bradley) Frye. Margaret loved fishing on the river and making some of the finest quilts you've ever seen. Her life was committed to loving Jesus and her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bud Frye. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William F. Davis; daughters, Debbie Price, Jennie Starnes (Red) and Nancy Breedlove (Bruce) all of Akron; son, Ron Davis (Marilyn) of Tallmadge; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 28 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron with Rev. Cary Wadle officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service begins. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
