Margaret Kirby

Margaret Kirby, 90, of Akron, went home to the Lord on November 25, 2023. She was born on July 27,1933; the daughter of the late Frank and Daisy Shane. She was a woman of great faith, and was an active member of Goodyear Heights United Methodist Church. Margaret was an avid Cleveland and Ohio State sports fan. She was happiest when soaking up the sun, and tending to her beautiful flower garden. She will be remembered fondly for her silly antics, kind smile, loving heart and the absolute love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Frank Kirby; son Bill Kirby; and 7 siblings; all of whom she greatly missed.

Margaret is survived by her loving daughter, Sharon (Gary) Morrison; grandchildren Tammy Morrison, Chris (Kaci) Morrison, Holli (Jon- Michael) Castelli, Abby (Dave) Lilly, Allison (Jason) Kufchak, and Sarah Sisson; great-grandchildren Ryan, Tiffani, Anna, McKenna, Brayden, Cora, Eva, and Aubrey; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Wednesday, Nov. 29th at Wedgewood United Methodist Church (2350 Wedgewood Dr. Akron 44312) where services will be held at 7:00pm with Pastor Sam Martin officiating.
