Margaret L. Green
Margaret L. Green, 61, of Akron, passed away November 9, 2009 at Akron City Hospital. She was born August 31, 1948 in Akron, Ohio to the late Donald E. & Mary A. (Petrunic) Green. Margaret retired from the City of Akron after 40 years of service. She was a member of the City of Akron Women's 20 Year Club. Margaret was good hearted and enjoyed baking, sewing, crafts and children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald E. and Robert E. Green; and niece, Holly A. Green. She is survived by her sisters, Barbara (Minter) Miller and Bonnie (Randy) DelMonte; brother, John P. Green; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 12:30 p.m., Fr. Michael Williamson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
