Margaret L. Laston
Margaret (Maggie) L. Laston, 80, passed away on September 18, 2011.
The daughter of Cyril and Virginia Bauer, she was born on April 21, 1931 in Lakemore, OH.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jim, of 58 years; parents, brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sisters, Marie Heasley, Ruth Gauer; sons, Jim (Gail) and Rick (Aritza); daughter, Sandy; grandchildren, Derek, Steven, Benjamin, Eric, Phillip; great-grandchildren, Logan, Alex, Sydney, Andrew.
The family would like to thank the staff of Essex Healthcare for the wonderful comfort they provided Maggie for the last few years and Asera Care Hospice for making Maggie's passing as comfortable as possible.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 20, from 5 to 7 PM at Lakemore United Methodist Church, 1536 Flickinger Rd., where funeral services will be held at 7 PM with Rev. Jeff Gindlesberger officiating.
Interment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park on Wednesday, September 21 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
