Margaret L. "Peggy" Martin
Peggy Martin, 62, of Akron, passed away February 1, 2011. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 31, 1949 to the late Samuel and Helen Agule. Peggy served in the U.S. Air Force and was employed as a bookkeeper and tax preparer. In her free time, she enjoyed visiting casinos. Peggy will be deeply missed by her husband of 20 years, Michael D. Martin; children, Denise L. Hurst, Christy L. (David) Neal, and James M. Martin; sister, Judy D. Perez; brother, Richard M. (Fiorella) Agule; grandchildren, Jessica L. Brady, Brittni L. Hurst, Brandon L. Hurst, and one grandchild on the way; parents-in-law, James and Marie Speck; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Family and friends may visit on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A service will be held in Bluefield, Virginia at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
