Margaret Ann Long, 82, of Randolph, went home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2025. She was born on January 31, 1942 in Taos, New Mexico to the late Cloyd and Anne Rogers. As a child, Margie moved with her family to Cadiz, Ohio and later settled in Akron, Ohio. She graduated from North High School, Class of 1960. After graduation, she met Jack Long while working at Western Auto in Midway Plaza. They fell in love and married on January 22, 1966. They moved to Tallmadge and raised a family of three children.
In addition to raising their family, Jack and Margie ran Circle City C.B. for 40 years, first in Tallmadge and later in Brimfield. Through the business, they made friends with countless customers.
Together, Jack and Margie formed deep family bonds with each other's in-laws. Their parents and siblings all became close with one another and enjoyed traveling together and celebrating holidays and milestones together. Margie loved to play cards, especially Rook. She was always the scorekeeper because her handwriting was the neatest. She also loved to bowl and spent many years on leagues with dear friends, the Staats, the Ramblers, and the Kellys.
In recent years, Margie's daughter Jackie felt blessed to have her live with her family. Margie would faithfully go to work with Jackie every day at St. Joseph School in Randolph where she had her own desk and loved being with her co-workers.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, Nana, sister, and friend and while she will be deeply missed, we are glad to know she is reunited with the many loved ones who went on before her.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Cloyd and Anne Rogers; her beloved husband, Jack Long; son, Brent Long; her brother, Steve Rogers; and many other precious relatives.
Margie is survived by her daughter, Jackie (Terry) Wright; son, Eric Long; grandson, Jack Wright; sisters, Patricia Feltrin and Debra Tillman; brother, Robert (Martin) Rogers; and many other loving relatives.
