Margaret L. Lundberg

Margaret Louise (Pankratz-Baker) Lundberg, age 86, of Akron, passed away on March 8, 2025 at St. Luke Lutheran Community. She was born on September 30, 1938 to the late George and Dorothy (Mason) Pankratz in Lorain, OH. She was raised by her grandparents, Gottlieb and Matilda Pankratz.

Margaret graduated from Lorain High School in the class of 1956. She received her nursing degree from Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland in 1959. She devoted over 30 years of her life to the care of others.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Lorain, Ohio, and the Westlake United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed participating in the women's ministries, singing in the choir, and playing handbells. She was a creative person, and enjoyed gardening, sewing, crochet, and baking.

Margaret is survived by her sister, Karen O-Keefe (Littleton, CO); her loving children, Darlene (David) Daugherty (Swanton, OH), John (Maelca) Baker (Detroit, MI), Michele Raddeman (Tucson, AZ), Michael (Kortney) Baker (Akron, OH); daughter-in-law, Eva Baker (Pontotoc, MS); grandchildren, Sean Daugherty, April Daugherty, Tanina (Zeke) Walsh, Tanya Baker, John Baker, Christopher (Melissa) Spencer, Bethany (Michael) Lovejoy, Timothy (Stina) Baker, Amanda (Kory Estep) Tedesco, Krystan (Nicole) Crider, Lawrence Gonzales, Dennis Raddeman, Rogan Baker, and Merrik Baker; blended family, Norman (Rosalie) Lundberg (Elyria, OH), Grant (Judy) Lundberg, Eric (Carrie) Lundberg, and Brenda (Chris) Knipper; 11 great-grandchildren; and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Paul Baker; her brothers, Bobby and Ronald Pankratz; and her husbands, James H. Baker, Jr. and Walter D. Lundberg.

Per Margaret's wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no formal services at this time.
