Margaret M. Minor, 88, passed away June 18, 2009. A very thoughtful, creative, and generous person, she was loved by many. She was a member of St. Matthew Church and a proud graduate of Ellet High School. Preceded in death by husbands Marion W. Bair and John C. Minor; brother Edward Mack; and grandson, Jimmie. She is survived by her children David A. (Jackie) Bair; William H. Bair; Charles E. Bair; and Mary Ann (Jay) Ballinger. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Zachary, Caitlin, Jessica, Steven (Laura), Mona (Dale), Gigi, Lisa (Kevin), Michael, Lucas, and Jennie. One of Margaret's proudest accomplishments was the establishment and 17-year operation of the Presser Towers Flea Market in recent years with her beloved friend Wilma Weaver at her side. All proceeds benefited tenants of Presser Towers. Her generous spirit and sense of humor will be missed by her beloved family and friends. A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 23, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. A private interment for family members only will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
