Margaret Pitman

Margaret "Maggie" Pitman, 57, went home to be with the Lord on March 10, 2012, after a long illness. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frances and William Hunt; and nephew, Jimmy Hunt, Jr. Survived by her boyfriend of 22 years, Kevin Maddox; daughter, Shannon (Phillip) Hunt; son, Shawn (Barb) Pitman; grandkids, Dylan, Derek, Daniel, Destiny, and Shawn, Jr.; one grandchild on the way; siblings, William, Maureen, Kay (Tom), Sharon (Bob), Jim (Cathy), Terry (Cheryl), and Pat (Kathy); nephews, P.K. and Brian; and many other family and friends who loved her very much. A big "thank you" to Kristyn Nelson for all of her help. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305. Funeral mass Thursday, 10 am, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester Rd., Akron, OH 44319. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
