Margaret Rose Bond
Margaret Rose Bond, 69, passed away April 5, 2009. She was born December 4, 1939 in Washington, D.C. and resided in Akron for most of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ethel Stumph and sister, Judy Mackavage. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Gene; sons, Brad (Carol) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, James (Leslie) of Brentwood, Tennessee, and Greg (Georgette) of Akron; daughter, Margaret Wilson of Brentwood, Tennessee; sister, Nancy (James) Foote; and brother, Thomas (Linda) Stumph. She leaves behind to cherish her memories eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many loving family members and friends. The family would like to thank Passport, the Palliative Care staff at Akron City Hospital, and Alpeter Management for all their compassionate care. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Summa.
