Margaret S. Lively

Margaret S. Lively, 80, of Akron, passed away on July 20, 2016. She was born on October 25, 1935 in Dothan, WV. Margaret was a homemaker who enjoyed listening to her husband play country music at the Music Barn, casinos, playing cards, spoiling her grandchildren, and spending time with her family and friends.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elizabeth Gubash; and brother, Willis Toney. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Roy Lee; children, Shara (Robert) Daniel, Teresa (Dan) Brown, Roger (Lisa) Lively, Jimmy (Suzann) Lively, Lynda (Bill) Abbott, and honorary daughter, Sheila (Ed Nelson) Hynds; grandchildren, Rob Daniel, Eric Daniel, Amy Lively, Steven Lively, Joe Abbott; great-grandchildren, Ashley Daniel, Ben Daniel, Joel Daniel; brother, Gene (Brenda) Toney of WV; and numerous extended family.

Family will welcome guests on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 11am - 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, followed by a memorial service at 1pm. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Nate Deyarmin Foundation for Veterans, 488 N. Munroe Rd., Tallmadge, Ohio 44278.
